Torrance, Gibb

I am a direct descendent of Thomas Torrance aka. Andrew Torrance b 1735 Larkhall d 1805. Had sons: Thomas, John, James William and Benjamin who sll came to Canada in the early 1800s. James Gibb came to CAnada and worked for William. William married Isabella Gibb.
Does any of this connect? Would like to share info.

Hello Jack,

Unfortunately not. I do have an Isabella Gibb but she married David Torrance and they lived in Govan then Penilee.

My Torrances all appear, so far, to be from Eastwood/Cathcart areas.
