The hints lead to these censuses.
As you say two McLEAN / KENNEDY marriages.
And both men James & William are from the same place in Fife.
Also - the LDS submitter has the same Film Nos etc for both of the marriages....
But why are these two marriages not in the IGI as Extracts?
Maybe neither couple did actually marry...?
