that is interesting Annette!! the names Ian and Agnes figure down the McLachlan side, tho the name marion throws me a wee bit.....and if he had remarried someone called Rebecca, that would explain where that name comes in with my gt grandads first daughter....
I've just phoned mum about this info and she says that James' daughter Rebecca would have been in the rough age group of my granny so 1897 would tie in with that for her....
I think once I've had a good look at this one I might find that they are mine!!! so thank you ever so much for finding that for me!!
