Myers & Young Families Dumfries & Liverpool before c

Hi

It seems quite likely that a number of families like ours, with close family links moved South at the same time early 1830s. I don't know what the reason was for the move, maybe some kind of upheaval, maybe someone can enlighten us, or is it nothing more than a search for work.
Anyway I don't know anything about the MCCaig's although I have seached with quite a bit of success the Young & Myers families, all thanks to the helpers on this and other sites. you could do no wrong in posting a look-up stating the info you sent me, the people on this site are only to willing to help.

Can anyone add any info on the Myers family origins from my original look-up.
