Is there any way I can view these records online? I am not able to travel to Scotland.

Hi OB
Was at NAS yesterday and had a short time to fill in so thought I'd order up CH12/1/14,Register of Baptisms, 1847-1863, Confirmations, 1852-1863 Leith, St James's Episcopal Church, Constitution Street and have a wee look ...however, I'd completely forgotten that it is one of those items which is not kept on the premises and needs to be ordered with 24-48hrs notice. So no further forward on that one for now, I'm afraid.

At least I tried!

CH12/1/14,Register of Baptisms, 1847-1863, Confirmations, 1852-1863 Leith, St James's Episcopal Church, Constitution Street, Leith, seen yesterday at NAS contains:

no Liversedge births 1850 - 1858
no Johnston births with the correct mother 1850-58

Yeah, I know. I felt sure they would be in there within that date range, what with the connection with England. So... they must either be somewhere else, or maybe they are not mentioned anywhere
