do you mean agnes mcwilliam's husband james died in an asylum in 1877 son of daniel muir and jane park ?

ok got it, she married my gggg grandfather in 1865.

The 1877 death is in 29 Carrick Street, same address as given in the 1871 census in one of the earlier posts in this thread. He is given as son of Jane Muir M.S. Park (father's name not known to Agnes who registered the death).

The 1875 death which now is almost certainly the wrong one was in the asylum.
