Also I have a Mary Glass on a certificate...she was a witness to an 1870 marriage in Partick.

William and Agnes (Nee McFarlane) Glass were my great, great, great grandparents. Their grandson David Fleming lived with Agnes at 53 Main Street and worked in her grocers. I think he was Janet's son and his father was a Fleming but havent traced this yet, can anyone fill in the gap

A look at David's birth entry, in 1877, at SP should show his father's name.

There is this marriage from the IGI -

Do a user search for AMBLY, this user is, or was, doing a one name search on Lattas.
Searching for Keogh, Kelly, Fitzgerald, Riddell, Stewart, Wilson, McQuilkin, Lynch, Boyle, Cairney, Ross, King, McIlravey, McCurdy, Drennan and Woods (to name but a few).

Also looking for any information on Rathlin Island, County Antrim, Ireland.

Hi Just to add to this thread,My grans maiden name is Anna Glass,her dad was William Glass died Sept 1956,her Mother was Jessie Glass nee Hodgson died 1969. Williams father was Hugh Glass died 1926 age 82 and he had 2 wives the 1st one was Janet Kennedy and the second wife and Mother to Willam was Jane Glass nee Robertson.They are all from Dumbarton apart from my great grandmother Jessie Glass nee Hodgson who was born in Dundee.So if anyone is looking for the Glass family from Dumbarton then drop me a line Id be happy to tell you what I know.

Hello again!Iwas just looking over some things and Ive discovered that my ggg granddad was Hugh Glass and he was married to a Janet Glass nee Grant.They had a son named Hugh d 1926 and he had 2 wives the first one who died was Janet Glass nee kennedy and his 2nd wife was Jane Glass nee Robertson,Jane is my gg grandmother.They had a son named William d 1956 and he was married to Jessie Glass nee Hodgson.They had a Daughter Anna who is my gran who is still alive!Just wondered if these families are connected?
