Michie family of Glenbuchat

Hi

I am trying to ascertain the actual birth and marriage dates of some of my Michie ancestors.

My g x 4 gradparents were John Michie bn/chr 11/9/1773 and Henrietta Moir bn/chr 5/9/1775. They were married circa 1795. John's parents were Harry Michie and Janet Moir. I know Harry was bn/chr 18/3/1748, but I do not know Janet's birth date nor their date of marriage.

Their parents were John Michie and Margaret Duff. I have their birth and marriage dates. I would also like to find out the birth and marriage dates of their parents, John Michie and Heln Gordon who would have been born 1690-1698 and married circa 1715.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Hi John,

I thought I had found your John Michie and Helen Gordon married on 11 AUG 1752 in Glenbucket, Aberdeen, Scotland but since you say they were married around 1715, I guess not the right ones...you can find that extract here

Someone else is researching this family...there are a few submissions.

Sorry I can't find anything on the BIVRI for any of the names you mention.
