Dear Steve and Kristen (and Jan too)

Glad to see you made your way to Talking Scot. I know from emails from Jan McFarlane that you and she are also in touch. I've been doing a bit more work on our Ross/Falconer seraching, but not made much headway - we're OK back to the 1826 marriage of Donald Ross and Betsy Falconer. His parents were Angus Ross and Grace Ross, who probably married around 1800, but I can't find that. Betsy's parents were John Falconer and Elizabeth Ross ... John was born around 1780+/- say 5 years and Elizabeth would be around the same, but I've not found them yet either.

Am in the process of scanning photos and will email to both you and Jan. You might have seen from my other post that we had a small number of photos which were of unnamed people. It may be that you/Jan might recognise some of them.

As I've said before, it's really great to find descendants of two of my great great grandfather's siblings. I never thought we'd find any because our wee branch of the family lost touch with everyone else.
