Mcbean/Bain family

I have been contacted by Bill Bean of the Clan McBean with the following information

Bill Bean, Clan MacBean Organization Genealogist will be at the Library from April 21 to April 25 doing family research to increase the number of family lines in the Clan database. At present we have about 40 Scottish family lines with most from around Inverness.
I have hundreds of families, but do not know the uplines so I can connect them together. This will be my main objective... connecting family lines. On April 21, I will leave a schedule as to the times I will be at the Library, so you don't waste a trip. I have to work around my dialysis appointments at the hospital

Hi Spacot,

My gtgtgt grandmother was Mary Bain, b. 1800 Inverness, I found her parents, Duncan Bain and Margaret Stewart, and siblings from the IGI, but never got any further back.
I am right in thinking from your subject line, that Bain is part of the McBean clan?
I really haven't looked at my Bain line much.
