Eliz Wilson b 1813 - 1876, Old Monkton and Peter Clark b1813 -1882, Polmont, married 1834, Polmont
The problem is with Eliz Parents -
William Wilson (coal miner) and Janet Mitchell, I am having a problem trying to tie up dates, I cannot find any marriage for them.
There are quite a few entries on LDS, Pedigree Resource File, and IGI, but can’t get the dates to match up, Birth range from 1762 - 1786
On SP there are 2 children born Old Monkton, to William Wilson and Janet Mitchael - Robert, b 1811 and my Elizabeth b 1813, and there are 9 children born to William Wilson and Janet Mitchell, ( notice diff. spelling) in Polmont and Falkirk between 1806 -1823.
Any Advice would be appreciated

Researching- Clark from Polmont, Wason from Dailly, Anderson & Williamson from Bridgeton, also Thomson, Sharp, Bryce, Gillen & Fairley

I would think that all children mentioned in Old Monkland, Polmont and Falkirk to William Wilson and Janet Mitch(a)el areall the same family. All my mining ancestors moved quite a bit although they were after 1850. However, since William was known both areas, he might have moved as work appeared in those areas.
