I am writing a book about a family from New England, USA. However I came upon a couple of names that may be of interest to someone here. I will pass along the information in case someone has “lost” one of these folks.
Both young men were stationed at the garrison at Fort St. George [area now known as the State of Maine].
Samuel Boggs and wife, Anna, were Scottish settlers of [the town of] Warren. Their second son, John, married Mary Bradbury who died July 22, 1809 at 77 years.
John Kirkpatrick b. 1734 came with the Scottish Colony in 1753. He married Ann Bradbury and died 17 June 1785 at age 51 years. Ann died 18, 1817 at 82 years.
That is all the information that I have. I hope it might be of interest to someone.
