Hi
If you use the free search on Scotlands People and look for deaths of a Mary Boyle with other name Be*g*n - you get 2 matches.
If you play around with the year range, the birth year and county of death. you find both records are from Lanarkshire, one is for a 1894 death with birth year 1825 and the other is a 1913 death with birth year of 1845.
If you think either of these is likely to be your Mary, (her age should be on the marriage cert you already have), then it would be worth using one credit to view the index entires. Hopefully they will show if the person was known by any other names and if you think one of these could be your Mary then for another 5 credits you would have her death cert too.
Hope this helps
Susan.

On the marriage certificate is Beggen her maiden name ?
or is her Father's name Beggen too?
As a widow it would be likely she would not revert to her maiden name.
Another way to find out is to check for her on subsequet census records, if she had children by her first husband their names may give a clue.
As indeed could the witnesses to the marriage.
Susan's sugestions are a good way, but that weould depend on whether or not the person registering the death knew she was married twice and could remember the first husband's name!
But of course the much easier way is to visit Scotland's People and search for all the marriages of a Mary B?gg?n in the likely time period - only 4 in all Scotland between 1855 and 1882 [and 1 will be to Mr Boyle].
You only need 1 of the couple's surnames to search there.
I hope you track him down.
