Deciphering Problem With Certificate!

Post by darylrodger » Sat Aug 16, 2008 8:54 pm

Hi,

I have another certificate for deciphering! It's a marriage cert. and I can't work out the groom's father's occupation.

Any help would as always be appreciated! :?

I'll upload it on to the gallery for everyone to have a peek at.

Hi Andrew & Lesley,

Many thanks for deciphering the mystery occupation! I had spent ages trying to make sense of it. :D

Regards,

Daryl

I'm far from convinced that it's 'Box', not least because, after whatever is the capital letter, I see 3 lower case letters; but then, the final lower case letter could be an 'x' with distinctly separated halves ........... and that capital could well be a 'B' ...

...And 'Box Paperer' was an occupation !!
