Hi Xenia,

John's age varies in later census records but I think this may be him in 1841 from FREECEN. The names and ages of the children tie up with the submissions at the IGI.

1891 he states - born Nigg in 1837,1871 he states - born Shandwick in 1833. These are transcriptions so you should check the originals.
