William Brown BLAIR.....

Post by CatrionaL » Sat Jul 30, 2005 11:29 pm

The Death Cert of my great granduncle, William Brown BLAIR, reveals that he died in Paisley Poorhouse on the 1st of October 1911. I wonder if some kind person could have a wee look at the Poorhouse Records in Paisley Library for me.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

By the way, I imagine the P.M. after the Cause of Death indicates a Post Mortem. Am I right?

Hi Catriona,

Is there a Register of Corrected Entries stamp in the left margin of this death certificate? If so, the RCE should show some reference to the Post Mortem.

All the best,

Andrew Paterson
