Hi Ashley
Wecome to Talking Scot
I've had to edit your post a little as we do not tend to name people on TS who may still potentially be alive. We do have a section where these guidelines are stated, but unfortunately, due to a recent disaster the forum has had to be built back up from scratch using backups and I don't think the "rules" are back in place yet, so I wouldn't expect you to know!
We can help you trace backwards, but we cannot help you find living people. Do you have any birth documents for James and Marjorie? Unfortunately they too are a little recent to find records online for - a search on Scotlands People should establish if there are any possible matches, and that would be a good starting point. Better still if you can visit the Scotlands People centre in Edinburgh as you would be able to find out more in a session there. However, once you have paret names for James and Marjorie we should be able to point you in the right direction fo find out more.
Best wishes
Lesley

Hi Ashley and welcome
There are allot of Reid's around Buckie
My first port of call for anything Moray related is the wonderful Moray Libindx
http://libindx.moray.gov.uk/mainmenu.asp
Ref no NM162563 is the only James Reid born 1911 listed, this might not be your James, but it might help to rule out the other. A trick with Libindx is less is more, some of the info they get might be wrong so I usually only go by the names and work through the list - you can accidently trip over gems.
