Anyone heard of Alexander (Sandy) Gunn Philip (80yrs+?)

Seeking any information about Sandy Gunn Philip. Born in Aberdeen early 1900's. Worked in Penang, Malaysia during 1950's. Was a solicitor in Edinburgh, but may have changed career? Last known address in Manchester. Family all but gone now, just myself and his sibling as the blood relatives left. Want to resolve mystery of his disappearance and establish whether he's alive or dead. Please send any information, however slight, to me. Thank you.
