Coutts family Aberdeenshire

I have as far as.

Josph Coutts born 1774 he married Margaret Clark (clerk) 18/5/1799.

I think his parents were Thomas Coutts and Isabel hendersn , but they are from Kincardine, whilstr the rest of the family are all from Aberdeenshire, mainly birse area.
Does any one have any ideas?

Why do you think those are his parents? have you found them mentioned on his marriage details or elsewhere?
I can't find an obvious death after 1855 on Scotlandspeople [that would give parents' names]

I had a look at the IGI on familysearch and can't find a birth/christening for Joseph.
