Mary Shirret Bruce - What Happened To Her ?

Hi,

Can anyone help find my grandmother's sister ?

Her name was Mary Shirret Bruce b. 22 Feb 1896 in Crawford St. Partick. I've found her in the 1901 census with her family living in New Kilpatrick, Dunbarton, aged 5. Her sister, my grandmother was Bessie Tedford Bruce. Their parents were William (stone mason) & Abigail Jane Tedford. She seems to have disappeared after that :? . I've tried looking for a marriage/death without success.

Any ideas ?

Hi Daryl.

I think this may be her on scotlandspeople.
She died 1964, aged 68, in Glasgow (north) Lanark. Looks like her marriage name was Hope.

Hi Daryl and Ina,

According to FreeBMD, Mary S Bruce married Frederick Hope in the first quarter of 1923 in Birkenhead District, Cheshire, England
