Agnes McConnachie

I am trying to trace any information about Agnes Nannie McConnachie, born 20/01/1868 in Patna, Ayrshire. Agnes was my Great Grandmother and gave birth out of marriage, my Grandmother, Mary.

The last record from the 1891 cencus is of a Agnes McConnachie, living at 2 Miller Place, Miller Road, Ayr, as a servant. My grandmother was brought up by Agnes's parents who went to America in the early 1900's. I have checked marriage and death records with no trace. If anyone can help as I would like to know more about Agnes life.

According to somebody at Ancestry she died at Liverpool in 1902 but at the moment I'm not finding anything to support that info.

When and where was wee Mary born?

So do you know if Albert was definitely John's son as stated in 1901?

Have you checked the death of Agnes McConnochie in 1901 at Ayrshire?

Albert was born in 1897 and died in 1903. I have the record of his death which shows parents John and Mary. I have been unable to anything in ScotlandsPeople website re Agnes death in 1901.

It may not be her but there is a death registered of an Agnes McConnochie born 1868 at Ayrshire (although it's not at Dalmellington) in 1901.
