News Paper Article for William Cavanagh

This is just a shot in the dark, and there may NOT be an article at all.

William Cavanagh's death certificate 13 Oct 1865 Canongate Edinburgh. States cause of death was a "Fracture of the Skull" His occupation is given as "Private Watchman" There is no RCE for this death but ther is a note in the margin which I can't read but I can make out November 15 or 25 1865.

I wonder if he was hit over the head for some reason or other.

The annotation in the left margin looks like:

There is no RCE button for you to click on to view this page of the Register of Corrected Entries. You will need to go back to the ScotlandsPeople page with link to click on to view the death certificate. On that page there is a link "If you would like to send a comment to us about the quality or transcription of this image, click here." Click on that link, and select "Statutory Index Reporting". Tell them that there is an RCE annotation on the death certificate, but no RCE button for you to click on to view that RCE. They will probably send you a copy of the RCE to you by e-mail. It will take a day longer than normal as they are on holiday on Easter Monday.

Hi Folks

Oh dear folks you know how useless I am at these things trust me he fell down the stairs so nothing dramatic like a belt over the head which caused his death.
