Can anyone help me find the Death of Jeanie Fenton m/s Gunn
Born 1907 poss Glasgow
Parents Robert and Jeanie
Married to William A K Fenton 26 Sept 1926 Gorbals Glasgow

I have had no luck on SP finding a death in any area from 1926-2009, is it possible she moved away from Scotland?
I used a variety of methods with no luck.

Do you know when and where William died and whether he was married or a widower at the time? That might help us narrow down the possibilities.

His death entry is on Ancestry - he died in 1945 at Possilpark and Jeanie signed it.
A search at SP shows 2 marriages for a Jeanie Glendin* Gunn (one after 1945) - perhaps Jeanie married again.

A tree on ancestry gives a death in Texas, USA - so I started searching without much success & decided to check the marriages Annette found.
The first was to William Alexand Fenton in 1926 and then Patrick Grimley McBride in 1952. The death for Patrick McBride indicated he was over 20 years younger than Jeannie so I checked the births and there are 2 births for a Jeannie Glendinning Gunn - 1907 and some years later (after TS dates allow mentioning). I think the later Jeannie probably married Patrick.
Then I went back to the US and checked the SS index - a death for a Jeannie G Fenton born 1 Feb 1907 (so I checked that birth certificate on SP & the date is 1 Feb) died May 1989 in Houston Texas. There is a link to a picture of her grave

She is also in the Texas death index - but no middle name/initial or age given - not sure why I missed it on my original search - I have an idea that I searched under her maiden name - disorganised soul I am.
