Hector McNeil & Catherine McMillan - Campbeltown 1790's

Hi Everyone,

Just wandering if anyone may have an ancestor of mine in their family tree.

His name was Hector McNeil, and he was married to Katherine McMillan. According to family lore, my paternal grandmother's line came from Barra but I've only been able to find my earliest McNeil's in Campbeltown. Hector's son also called Hector moved to Paisley in the early 1800's, and eventually died in the Paisley Poorhouse in 1874.

Can anyone help ?
