1861 Census.....

I am having problems getting into the 1861 census in Scotlands People for James Lyon age 60 residing in Methlic. Every time I try to go into it I my computer freezes. I would lilke to
know where Charles Lyon G son was born? Can someone please look it up for me?

Hi Heather,
Things seem to be running fine on SP now. Charles, g-son, age 7, born Banffshire, Marnack.

Thanks for your reply. I couldn't remember whether it was Marnoch or old Machar. I can't find a birth for Charles Lyon this age in Marnock but I found a Charles Lyon b 9/2/1853 Old Machar. Parents James Lyon and Elizabeth Blake.

I will keep looking.
