Hi Katie
What information are you looking for? I am currently using a Mac laptop which won't display images from SP but I can see the marriage for Thomas and Lydia in 1881 in Canongate Edinburgh is there. I'm assuming you've looked at that and therefore have their parents and ages. I'm guessing that your Lydia was born Lydia Fraser Frier 1861 in Edinburgh to Colin Frier and Christina Noble who don't seem to have any more children given onthe IGI. As I could not look at the MC I could not see when exactly in 1881 they were married but try as I might I could not find Lydia on the 1881 (which I can see) either as Frier or variations or as Cockburn. There are a couple of possiblities for Thomas, though, if they got married post the census date.
Sorry this is not more helpful. Are you hoping to look forward or backwards?

Were Alexander's parents stated on his DC in 1890??? I've counted up 16 Cockburn couples that were having babies in Leith around the same time as Alexander and Isabella.....odds are good that at least one or two might be siblings to him!
Best wishes

Colin Frier, Flesher Journeyman, died in 1863 aged 36 (parents Thomas Frier and Lydia Fraser, both deceased). He died after falling backwards down some stairs. Christina then married Thomas McLaren (also a Flesher Journeyman) in 1864 and they had two daughters- Susan in 1864 and Janet Finlay in 1866. On the marriage certificate her parents are given as Robert Noble deceased and Marion Veitch.

Thomas McLaren and Christina married in 1864 so Colin Frier died between 1861 and 1864 (in fact 1863)
Colin's mother was a Fraser which is where Lydia gets her middle name.
Christina probably knocked a few years off her age, she's reported to have married Colin in 1846, if the census is accurate this means she was 15.
