I just wanted to say Hello to you all, as I've only just joined, and I know eventually I'm going to be looking for some help.

You all seem to know what your doing and well, lets just say I'm a complete novice!!

I'm Janice and I live just outside Glasgow, in Clydebank.

Don't worry about being a novice as we have all been there. You have picked the right forum to join for help with your family history as there are many experts (wish I was one of them) who go out of their way to help and in the nicest and friendliest way.

Why dont you add the names you are looking for to your profile & you never know somebody else may researching the same names.

Defo Alan - I'd have loved a lock in and free reign on a printer!!

All I need to do now is get some order to these files

I've written most of todays findings out and mailed it to my sis in Canada, so she'll be engrossed now too.

I need to get back soon, I'm desperate to know more about Mungo!!!

You've come to the right place! Lots of very friendly and helpful people here. We were all beginners at some stage - I've just taken off my "L" plates.... my "P" plates are still shiny.
