Glass/MacWilliam Marriage 2 Lots of Children.....

I have a James Glass married Jean MacWilliam 1/3/1756 and have found on IGI six children.
John 1757 / Alex 1758 / Ann 1760 , then there is a 13 year gap.
Joseph 1773 / William 1776 / Elizabeth 1778
The Marriage and all Births are Urquhart,Moray,Scotland
Is this Family situation possible,or are we, by coincidence looking at two different families? I have only been able to find the one marriage under these names.
If they are the one family,what would be a possible explanation for the gap?

Not impossible ..... but are we talking all extracts or some submissions?

Reason ? They didn't have any kids in that interval; they did but didn't have them baptised (check out taxes on registration in that period); they did but the records haven't survived for those years; they did but they were members of a secession church for that period; plus a few other reasons I can't conjure up at 2:42 in the morning

Possible that it's a coincidence, but Ah hae ma doots given the surnames involved, but I've been wrong before now

Given that all the IGI entries are extracts, I'd tend to believe that we're talking the same family.
