I'm looking for Ellen Randall on the Scottish 1891 census, I have her in Kent, England on the 1901 living with her grandparents William Randall, 62, Printer, born Bedford and Caroline A Randall, 61 born Bexley Heath, Kent. Ellen is 12 and born in Scotland. I cannot find her on the English 1891 census so I'm assuming she will be in Scotland still. I would love to know who she is living with. Thank you in anticipation

If her father was a butler then there's an interesting record of a 2 year old at www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk .....

Hi David,

I don't know who her father would have been as she is living with her grandparents in 1901, no parents around. Can you give the fathers name and whether he was born in England? This look up isn't for me, it is on behalf of someone else so I can't look myself on Scotlands people

It could be William J, Frank, Alan W or Fred Randall according to the family on the 1871 Kent Census.
