James Peacock in Dundee.....

My great great grandfather James H. Peacock married Isabell Ramsay in Dundee in 1826. they had five children before they emigrated to Canada sometime between 1838 and 1842. I'm trying to find out when they left Dundee , how James ws employed in Dundee, anything about their life or relatives left behind in Scotland. James was originally from Inveresk. Would appreciate any information about these folks. Thanks.

Many thanks to all three of you who replied to my query. It corroborates my previous research. All family members listed in the 1841 census are buried here in Ottawa except for John (18) who was likely a brother of James and probably stayed behind in Scotland. Also very intersting to know that James was a hatter before he came over.
To Just Jean: Yes, James was James Hay Peacock. hence, the Inveresk connection and those you list are some of his thirteen siblings. many thanks.
