Henry John Simpson and Jane Hogg.....

Henry John Simpson married Jane Hogg at St. Cuthbert's Edinburgh on 30 November 1848.

Can anyone assist with these two as I have nothing else about them except they came to Australia and my great grandmother Colina Simpson was born here in 1849

This could well be my Henry as the times fit well and St. Cuthbert's figures in all the dates.
I will take it as a possible and hope I can get some further information.
I'll now look at the ships and the Simpsons coming to OZ.

Just thought I would let you know that the Henry you found fits in, date wise, with the arrival of Henry and Jane Simpson on the Barque, Lord George Bentinck.
Right ages, right time and surely that's sufficient proof.
