Miracle at Murrayfield.....

Post by wini » Sun Feb 26, 2006 10:39 am

Andrew,

Just wanted to ask if CHRIS PATERSON, champion player is in your genealogical tree. There playing
hasn't been so good in recent years but "the flo'ors(not sure how you spell it) o' the forest is the best song among all the rugby nations and great to beat the POMS

Hi Wini,

Chris Paterson is not in my family tree so far as I know. Of the just over 1000 people that I have attached to my tree, 166 are Patersons by birth, and none of these is a Chris(topher).

All the best,

Andrew

Yesterday's victory at Murrayfield does not quite make up for Culloden - but it does help to ease the pain a wee bit - especially when toasted with a fair measure of the 'water of life' !!

Best regards

Ted

Oh yes especially when viewed in England with the cocky English commentator at the start "yes the Scots will defend well but in the end English superiority on the field will bring victory"
Too much of a lady to tell you what my reply to that was .....Had my neighbours at my door "Just to check everything is ok?"
"OK it is stupendous"(must have been the cartwheels across the floor)
Roll on Thursday when I will relish our success with my English supporting Beaver Scout Assistant Leader.
I expect two unhappy boys today especially as their ex-shoolmate Josh Loosey was playing for the losing side.
Not that I like to gloat you understand!!!!!
