George M Leys, Headmaster, Aberdeen.....

Hi Folks,

I've traced one line of my Mitchells to a Leys family originally from Crathie and up to a George M Leys, firstly an English Teacher and then Headmaster in some school in ABerdeen. Died circa 1959. Married to Euphemia Harvey Gibb in 1928. Any ideas on how I can find out which school, etc?

They found my grandfathers school records for me.

Schools
Frederick Street School (1911)- i think was a Junior School because my granda then went on to
Skene Street Public School later became Gilcomstoun School (but there may have been a move involved)
There was also
Holburn Street School (may also have been a junior school)
This for me was all c1911-21

I have the school certificates here but Aberdeen archives added a lot more to them.
