Isle of Wight - Scots Parents.....

Post by Jinty » Sat Mar 11, 2006 11:20 am

Hello Everyone,

I joined yesterday. I live in the Isle of Wight. Both parents and grandparents were Scots. I have paternal and maternal trees back to 1750. I've already recognised someone searching my maternal line.

Look forward to messaging with you.

Many thanks for the kind welcome. I also know your part of the world from childhood. :)
Searching earlier than mid 1800s is not easy and quite frustrating at times

Hello Dennis,

If there are, they are not in the phone book, either privately, or in business.

I've not heard the name before and I've been here nigh on 40 years. Sorry.
