McLauchlan/Mills/Milne..Perthshire.....

My g.g. grandfather John McLauchlan (ploughman) was born Dunkeld, Perthshire in 1801 & married a Marjory (Mey) Milne or Mills born c1803 Cargill in Coupar Angus on 26/12/1824. John may have had a brother Robert.
In 1831 the family lived at Hillyland on the north-eastern outskirts of Perth & in 1836 they were on Friarton or Moncrieffe Island in the River Tay at the south end of the Burgh. Later in 1851 in Evelick in the parish of Kilspendie listed as follows:
John McLauchlane (snr) Head widower 48yrs. Farm labourer
May McLauchlane, daughter, 18yrs
James, son, 12yrs, scholar.
Other children were John born 1828, Ann born 1825 William born 1836.
Has anyone any connections to either of these families or any suggestions to find out John snrs. & Marjory Milne/Mills parents.
