Thank you Alex,
Have not seen the McGreish spelling before. Might be the Scots accent; there seem to be many spelling variations in Scots official documents.
Have Sidney Gallacher whose maiden name McGreece has been spelt McGrace, McGreice, McGreive and just Greive in her marriage, her children's birth and death certs.
