Hi Sally
I did a search on Scotlands People for Jane, surname as mentioned and there seem to be no Thingummybobs in Scotland at all. Can you give me more info please? Unfortunately the search criteria on the site is a bit limited & doesn't allow me to specify mode of dress....

Best wishes
Lesley

p.s. I think it must be time for me to finish up! Score 17/20.

Good quiz
Got 18/20, swithered over one, got the other confused with local personality who has this as a nickname.

No way José ! I knox from my late granny that I come from a long line of Thingummybobs and their couisns Thingummyjigs - if you cannot find them on SP, then the Parish registrar must have "anglicised" them into something else . Or perhaps they were irregular people?

Pinkshoes , I wonder if we're embarrassed about the same fella? Dare you to say ?

I'm really irked that I cannot remember what that girl's name was. I can't even remember the name of the program - MasterScot, SuperScot, GreatScot something like that ?

Was amazed to get 18/20. Must be Springtime in Paris that's having a positive effect on my brain cells.

Pinkshoes

Tony Blair too !

I knew he was edumacated at Fettes or the like, but I didn't know he was born in Scotland. Someone in Belgium once told me he was Scottish, but I told them confidently that he wasn't. So I know nothing. (What's new ??? )
