First post..help with finding Berwickshire Wilson.....

First post..help with finding Berwickshire Wilson.....

Hi. Have been browsing this site for a while but am now taking the plunge and asking for help.
I am tracing my husband's Scottish roots(Martin) and have managed to get a lot of info from Scottish People website amongst others. but need some help :)
From a wedding cert. I have John Dalziel m Mary Morrison 31.8.1869 in Mitton? Glasgow. Janets birthplace is given as Glasgow.
Mary's parents are both deceased by the time of the wedding (James Morrison and Janet Wilson).
On the 1851 Census they were living at 32 Nicholas St Glasgow and Janet is listed as Janet Wilson or Morrison,49. James is a Wire Drawer,45.
Janet's place of birth is given as Berwickshire and not Glasgow as on the Marriage Cert.
I have tried every combination I can think of on SP and Familysearch but I cannot find:
1 Janet's or Robert's birth
2. Janet's or Robert's Death

Will I get these details from a Wedding Certificate of this date? ...but I don't know when they got married! Have searched so many times for this I'm going boss eyed.

Its probably really simple but I can't see the solution so will be very grateful for any help.

Welcome to Talking Scot. Glad you've decided to take the plunge and post. Someone will surely be able to help with one or other of your questions.

On www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk there is a death between 1855 and 1869 for a Janet Wilson/Morrison (All districts) and putting birth date as 1802+/- 3yrs.

Perhaps you've already seen that one.

Have you looked at the death on Scotlands People of Janet Wilson/Morrison in 1864?
