Binnie in Innerleithen, Peebleshire.....

I'm looking for a Francis Binnie and Janet Brydon in Innerleithen. they had 10 children, the youngest, Peter, is my connection. His eldest brother was born in 1908 (James). I've discovered death registration for francis and janet which had their parents names, but have yet to discover if they were born in that area or another. The eldr children were born in Traquair. Fancis was born around 1781 and Janet around 1779. Any suggestions would be great as t o where I should go from here.

Hi Gillian and Welcome!

The only place you'll find their places of birth is from the 1861 census since both Francis and his wife were deceased by 1871 and the 1841 (soon to be released

) will not show a name of the place of birth.
