I too, am researching my Boyd line, below is the information from my line dating back to 1752:

John Boyd was christened 26 Apr 1752 Mid Calder, Midlothian, Scotland died 7
Jun 1823 Carstairs, Lanark, Scotland.

John married Janet Geddes (s) 16 Apr 1769 Whitburn, West Lothian, Scotland.

Janet was christened 13 Apr 1746 Whitburn, West Lothian, Scotland died 14
Nov 1813 Carstairs, Lanark, Scotland.
