Hi Bill,
I have tried every kind of wildcard and name combination at SP and cannot find her either. Although she may have died after 1955, it might also be an error on the death registration....she may not be registered under Catherine. Are you positive that is her christian name...through a birth certificate perhaps?
Have you found John Hug*es death? This might give you an idea of when she was still alive...
Perhaps someone might be able to visit the registry office for you and have a peek at deaths after 1955?
Nina

John Hughes/Catherine Carlin
Thanks for your help. I also have tried wild cards but no luck. The last try I found 54 names on Scotlandspeople, but run out of credits. But no luck so far. Regards Bill
