hi there, hello everyone im back, thanks again for all the help you gave re james dewar im now trying to track the parents of christian drummond who married john dewar in airth in 1770 , it appears she may have been from torryburn in fife, so can anyone help me on this please?

I found this post while searching the TS site for references to Fife and Christian.

Have you had any luck with Christian Drummond's parents? I had a quick look there on the index on SP for Christian Drummond born 1740-1755 and came up with 25 on one page. If you've not already looked, might be worth a shot.
