What a load of tripe why do people put the lack of monetary rewards with a bad work ethic?
I have worked since I was sixteen &yet i would class myself as poor-don't own my own home car etc. Most of my rellies worked hard all their days for little monetary reward but they do have the happiness gene & maybe that is what has held us back.We would far rather work at something that gives us satisfaction than something that pays well but we hate.
I have rellies who have done extremely well for themselves professionally& in monetary terms too.We are at almost 100% employed excepting those with health issues, studying & even there they have part-time jobs.
My younger sister has brought her children up so that
they were working even at weekends when at school they contributed to the household. If they couldn't find work they did more at home. They are all working and or studying now. They were always aware of the household budget too.
My nephew(elder sister)graduated from
GlasgowUni with a Masters but couldn't get work so he started his own company which is taking off.Not bad for the son of a joiner& a Local Government Officer. Her younger daughter is in the middle of a Buisness
HND depite having two young children & starting off as a single parent.
So yes I think bad health is caused in some cases from poverty & maybe workshyness too-what about Hooray Henrys are they genetically predisposed to a bad attitude to work too???
