Where were William and Anna married?
Have you had a look for the death of William Cameron on the Scotland's People site? If he lived until after 1855 then the death entry should give his parents names.

Sometimes a little more info is given - an occupation for the groom, perhaps the name of a farm where one of them lived, and even very occaisionally a father's name is given for the bride. You are highly unlikley to find the parents of William mentioned at all (never seen this, but I live in hope!OPR Parish of Cardross, County of Dumbarton
June 2nd 1811, James Davie and Susannah Guy both in this Parish gave in their names for proclamation in order to Banns and received Extracts.
