family names .....

hi again wish to post the some of the family names so far
mcnab,orr, thomson,vietch,rankin ,marshall.shaw,cunningham. some of many paternal. Im doing all my family as I didnt know much about them
hope to find someone out there belonging. cheers

If they are around after 1855, you likely will.

my GR GR Gran margaret orr was married to robert. mcnab their son john was married to janet thompson aug 1864. margaret was already deceased. they were in airdrie in lanark. this is all I know about margart
orr..cant trace marriage birth or death cert. am stuck there.

hi sheila my maiden name is mcnab. my father was from airdrie.D.O.B 1903 his father robert D.O.B 1865. his father john. D.O.B.1838. his father D.O.B abt 1811.? I have more info if you think we relate . id be happy to share. the family moved to pestonpans. then my father came to england to join the policeforce. I dont have any dates for these moves . this is as far back as I can get with the mcnabs thnks for your reply chees margaret .

hi jean, my cunninghams came from bothwell. george married agnes shaw in 1840. but thanks for your quick reply I have to send another email to you with the other name cheers margaret

my thomsons came from airdrie that I know of.stuck on them Im afraid

I have a George Cunningham married to Agnes Shaw. They married 22/03/1840 Bothwell Lanark. Agnes died in Slamanan 26/07/1881. I know of 4 children but suspect there were more. Son William born 1849 bothwell, married Jane Gardiner 1868 in Slamanan. Sounds similar, does any of this match your info?
