You could get that info at Park Circus in Glasgow, or the main office in Edinburgh.

If there was someone going to Glasgow office perhaps they could look for you.

Wish I could get the chance to go, but work keeps getting in the way right now
Beveridge, Bonnar, Burns,Candlin, Colquhoun, Dewar,Graham,Hislop,Jackson & Robertson.

Hi Ellen

I tried to email you the details directly with the information that you were looking for, but seemed to have a problem. However, maybe it is just as well because I find that I come on to TS site regularly and browse, but never take part, so now I have been 'forced to' participate!

I was at NRH today and looked up Jane Anderson's DC. So here goes :-

Jane Gilmour Anderson - married to Robert Anderson, Builder's Labourer.
Died - 9th June 1961 at 0h.30m. a.m. - aged 30 years - Died at Gateside Hospital, Greenock.
Usual residence - 3 Iona Road, Port Glasgow.

Father - William Crawford
Mother - Annie Crawford (ms McAllister)

Cause of death - Chronic Glomerulonephritis Uraemia
Informant - Robert Anderson, widower, of 3 Iona Road, PG
Certified by High Kilpatrick, M B Ch B

Hope that this helps?

Regards

Joanne

Poor soul this is a fancy word for Chronic Renal Failure & what my Younger Brother suffers from.As renal Dialysis was not avaiable then her system would become Ureamic ie the toxins in her blood would build up until all her organs failed under the onslaught.Kidneys are like the water filter of your body-they take out most of the junk out of your blood & urine & leave the good stuff behind.
A few years later & she may have survived.
