My Fathers Family.....

If I have the right Percy family from Maryhill Glasgow (which I am almost sure I have) then I need a little help here if possible. On my granda's birth
cert (copy from online) it says his fathers name was Daniel. I then have managed to find a marriage entry for Daniel and that says that he was a 28 yr old widower when he married in 1895 which would mean he would have been born 1867/68 Trying to trace Daniels birth I came upon one that said Daniel and I think ( although I can't read it very well) 1888 so this can't be him but other info fits same wife's name on marriage cert. Now I'm just getting more and more confused. Any help at all would be really appreciated

If you follow my steps you'll easily find the Birth record of Daniel in Roxburgh. You have to search using wildcards or you won't pick up the tricky spelling of his surname. Just use P*Y instead of PERCY...
