Hi Thomsos
I think the youngest is Willm (William) 18months
Could the one under George be Edward? - can see Edw.. aged 8
Best wishes

Agreed re Edward and Willm, but where do you get the place of birth info, as that is not shown on the 1841 census, other than the answer to the question "Born in County?" ?, - or where did Ancestry get it :?: :!:

Are we talking about Ireland & England as places of birth? That's in the letters E and I. Or am I missing what you are talking about?
I took the end bit: "Barony Middle Calton Lanarkshire" to be where the census was from, whcih is not the usual order...

Hmmmmm...... just spotted that each entry in the transcription ends with "Barony Middle Calton Lanarkshire", - a bit misleading as that refers to the place of the census, not the place of birth .....

In other words, the transcription should be ............

Barony Middle Calton Lanarkshire

Adam Williamson 45 I
Barbra Williamson 40 I
John Williamson 15 Y
James Williamson 15 Y
George Williamson 20 Y
Edward Williamson 8 E
Rachel Williamson 6 E
Willm Williamson 18(?)m E

To start putting in derived years of birth, is, I think, potentially misleading.

Thanks all,
I have another little anomaly, when looking at all census, I see that they are in age order, but if you notice George aged 20 is placed after John and James who are 15, is this normal, or is there a mistake here, I am having trouble tracing George, as you can see in an earlier post - help needed
