1. John STEWART. Born abt 1750. Resided in Nedd, Assynt, Sutherland, Scotland, in 1781. 1 Was on the census for Nedd, Assynt, Sutherland, Scotland, in 1811. 2 males and 2 females in household. John died in Nedd, Assynt, Sutherland, Scotland, abt 1835; he was 85. 1 tenancy of croft passed to son Murdo.
Murdo, John, Henny definitely siblings - unsure about others
Held tenancy of croft in Nedd from 1802 - 1834
Father possibly Alexander at Glenleraig 1774 with wife and 2 children
Abt 1773 when John was 23, he married Mary McKENZIE. Born abt 1750.
They had the following children: 2 i. Henny (~1774-1864) 3 ii. unknown (~1775-) 4 iii. Donald (~1781-1843) 5 iv. Roderick (~1785-) 6 v. John (~1787-1869) 7 vi. Murdo (~1793-1883)

4. Donald STEWART. Born abt 1781 in Assynt, Sutherland, Scotland. Resided in Nedd, Assynt, Sutherland, Scotland, in 1814. -took over tenancy from Catherine Graham. Was on the census for Nedd, Assynt, Sutherland, Scotland, on 7 Jun 1841. 4 Donald died in Nedd, Assynt, Sutherland, Scotland, in 1843; he was 62. 5
Buried in Nedd, Assynt, Sutherland, Scotland.
For much of the 19th century, five of the fifteen crofts in Nedd, Assynt, Sutherland, Scotland, Assynt, Sutherland, Scotland were tenanted by Stewarts belonging to 3 families - one descended from Donald Stewart born 1780, one from Murdo Stewart born 1793 and third from John Stewart born 1791 Held tenancy of croft in Nedd from 1814 - death
On 27 Jan 1810 when Donald was 29, he married Jannet MORISON, in Nedd, Assynt, Sutherland, Scotland.6
Born abt 1793 in Culkein Drumbeg, Assynt, Sutherland, Scotland. Born abt 1793 in Culkein Drumbeg, Assynt, Sutherland, Scotland. Was on the census for Nedd, Assynt, Sutherland, Scotland, on 7 Jun 1841. 4 Was on the census for Nedd, Assynt, Sutherland, Scotland, on 30 Mar 1851. 7 Was on the census for Nedd, Assynt, Sutherland, Scotland, on 7 Apr 1861. 8 Jannet died in Nedd, Assynt, Sutherland, Scotland, on 10 Feb 1870; she was 77. 9,5 age 77. Cause of death: Old Age / Natural Decay.
1855 Noted by estate management as having 2 sons with their families living with her - against estate rules. Son Murdo Stewart named as informant on death certificate Held tenancy of croft in Nedd from 1847 - 1869
They had the following children: 9 i. Alexander “Alistair” (~1813-1885) 1 0 ii. John (<1813-1857) 1 1 iii. Niel (<1815-1873) 1 2 iv. Murdo (<1819-1902) 1 3 v. William (<1822-) 1 4 vi. John (<1825-1891) 1 5 vii. William (<1832-1909)
