Beattie Help.....

I have recently been given some information that I am trying to follow up on & would appreciate any help.
Here is the information:-
Joseph.W. Beattie it appears married Elizabeth Canning.
I am only assuming here,the date possibly about 1870.

I am also looking for her parents.
I have applied for a marriage certificate for Joseph,but in the meantime thought that some may know something about Elizabeth

Any help is and would be appreciated

Hi Baldy
The marriage entry should give you Elizabeth's parents, and her age at the time of marriage both of which might help you pin down a birth & maybe some census appearances too.

I am interested in what you find out about Elizabeth as I have Cannings in my tree and I am having difficulty in getting details for Susan Canning, my Grt Grandmother.
